Join the Trail Crew

Are you a motivated volunteer who wants to work on the trails?  Come help us! Just follow these steps:

Step 1

Sign the volunteer waiver form. You need to sign a new waiver once every year, prior to working on the trails.

Step 2

Email the STA Trail Manager to explain your proposed volunteering effort.  The STA Trail Manager needs to approve your trail work before it occurs. They’ll let you know of other work parties you can join too.

Why all these rules?  STA is allowed to maintain our trails through an agreement with the Municipality of Anchorage, who is the landowner.  These rules are set up so that we follow the maintenance agreement with the Municipality. If you have ideas on how to make the trails better please contact your STA Trail Manager. Thanks for your help!
